Last Monday I celebrated a birthday. It was pretty uneventful and far different than 10 years ago when I was still in my 20s and going to the bar. I am now 38 and have a baby. How life can change. I loved birthday’s of my past, but I LOVE birthday’s now too, spending time with my sweet baby and husband.
I created this layout for Ink Road Stamps featuring the Mari Party stamp set. I also had to add a little rainbow of color with The Stamp Market: Color Crush paper.
This tag was die cut with a Stamp Market tag die and the Color Crush paper line.
I also used vellum to stamp the balloons. I used my sewing machine for some texture in the background. AND I pulled out some tissue paper to add layers behind my photos.
I decided to keep the presents that I stamped at the bottom black and white, since I added the strips of color with the paper. I love how simple this layout is and how it draws attention to the photos. This is 38.
Thanks for joining me today. If you want to see more details of this project, jump over to the Ink Road Stamps blog.
