Coffee Before Talkie Layout

Hello friends. Today I’m sharing a project on the Ink Road Stamps blog. I’m LOVING how this layout turned out.

Confession… one of the paper lines I used on this travelers notebook layout is old… like from 2013. Also, it’s from a company that no longer exists. I’m really trying to use things or get rid of them. And this paper line by Glitz Designs worked out great with my design and color palette.

I started this spread with a piece of 8.5″ x 11″ white card stock that had some random areas of gesso on it. I thought I’d work with the texture and see what I came up with. Below is the base of what I stared with. I added color with Faber Castell Gelatos in Metallic Mint and Chocolate, as well as Catherine Pooler Inks (to create the stamped title and the coffee rings) in Over Coffee, Icing on the Cake, and Mint to Be (all products are linked below).
