For the past few days I have posted a few mermaid cards on my Instagram. On Saturday, Ink Road Stamps did an Instagram Hop with Spieglemom Scraps using the Mermaid stamp bundle. In preparing for that hop, I created several cards using the Mermaid stamp bundle as well as the Ink Road Stamps July Inked Girl (Samantha).
This is the card I shared for the Instagram Hop.
For this card I used the Ink Road Stamps "July Inked Girl: Samantha", Clear Babbles from Ink Road, and Simple Stories Dream Big papers. The sentiment is from the Ink Road Mermaid Bundle and I colored Samantha with Copic Markers, and added some foil to the tail with Wow Embossing products.
A prelude to the weekend, I added this card below using the Ink Road Stamps: July Inked Girl - Samantha. I just love her! I added some Simple Stories Dream Big paper to the edge and framed the stamped area with aqua card stock. I colored Samantha in with Zig Real Clean Markers.
On Sunday I posted this card using the Mermaid bundle. The images were colored in with Zig Clean Color Markers and I used a Mama Elephant: Peek-a-Boo Frame die to cut the frame section of the card. Using an embossing folder, I added texture to the background for a bubble look and added Spieglemom Scraps sequins to the card.
Finally, I created this shadow box card using the Lawn Fawn Shadow Box die and Ocean add on. I used the "Shell Yeah" stamp set from the Ink Road Stamps Mermaid Bundle. I love how this card turned out and all the fantastic layers of mermaids! I colored these images in with Copic markers.
