A I wait for my laser cutter to arrive, I found a GREAT deal on a refurbished Mug Press and Heat Press from Swing Design. This company has an awesome reputation and I've been eying these beautiful machines for awhile. Now I didn't necessarily get the colors I wanted, but I couldn't pass up the price they were selling for.
To find great deals on refurbished machines go to the last page of the section you are looking at. They also carry Silhouette machines, sublimation printers and more. Or purchase a beautiful new machine.
Alright, so instead of waiting weeks to test the machine, I dove in! I created a design using the state of MN and worked my letters into the state with the word HOME and the zip code for Moorhead, MN.
I then cut the design from Cricut Infusible Ink using my Silhouette machines and the Silhouette Studio program.
SETTINGS USED ON MY SILHOUETTE (Cameo 1)
My blade is a little dull so I used
Blade - 6 (probably could use 5 on a newer blade)
Force - 26
Speed - 4
Pass - 1

And the end product! I will be selling these mugs in my shop soon. My Minnesota one turned out PERFECT! I was so proud. The North Dakota one I did a few days later didn't transfer all the way due to me not putting it in the machine fully in the areas that needed transfer. Trial and error. But I'm super excited to add these to my shop!
